Nutramon Care is based on Nutramon – a CAN nitrogen fertiliser containing calcium and magnesium. It contains 27% nitrogen, split evenly between 50% nitrate and 50% ammonium nitrogen. It also includes 6% calcium oxide and 4% magnesium oxide. The Care variant additionally contains a nitrification inhibitor, which reduces nitrogen losses and increases nitrogen use efficiency.

The inhibitor slows down the conversion of ammonium into nitrate in the soil. This keeps nitrogen available in the root zone for longer, reducing nitrogen losses and increasing efficiency (NUE). The effect lasts approximately 4 to 10 weeks depending on soil temperature and moisture.

This balanced combination provides fast-acting nitrate and longer-lasting ammonium. Thanks to the nitrification inhibitor, ammonium converts more slowly, leading to less leaching and fewer emissions.

The orange colour represents trusted quality. Nutramon Care is CAN, but not all CAN is Nutramon Care. The colour helps identify our product and ensures excellent spreading quality.

Nutramon Care has the same granule quality as standard Nutramon, so the settings are identical. The hard, smooth and dust-free granules spread evenly over widths of more than 50 metres.
