Dynamax Novo: Nitrogen–Sulphur fertiliser with a lower CO₂ footprint
Dynamax Novo is a nitrogen–sulphur fertiliser with a lower CO₂ footprint, recognisable by its magenta granules. What makes Dynamax Novo unique is the use of biogas certificates, which significantly reduce the impact of production. In addition, Dynamax Novo provides the ideal combination of nitrogen and sulphur in a single granule, ensuring higher nitrogen use efficiency and contributing to a more sustainable agricultural system.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Sulphur content is often expressed as sulphur trioxide (% SO₃). In other parts of Europe it is expressed as elemental sulphur (% S). You can easily convert: 1% S = 2.5% SO₃
Synergy means two nutrients work together so the combined effect is greater than the sum of each individually. Crops need sulphur to use nitrogen efficiently. Because N and S work together in essential plant processes, applying both at the same time greatly improves nitrogen use efficiency, resulting in higher yields and better crop quality.
Yes. The nitrogen–sulphur ratio in Dynamax Novo (27% N, 4% S) is optimised for a wide range of crops such as oilseed rape, sugar beet, wheat and many others. Crops with a high nitrogen demand also have a high sulphur requirement. Dynamax Novo delivers the ideal combination for improved nitrogen efficiency and strong yields.

Dynamax Novo provides the same benefits as conventional Dynamax, but with one major advantage: a lower CO₂ footprint.
With biogas certificates used in production, the environmental impact is significantly reduced.
The positive synergy between nitrogen and sulphur improves nitrogen efficiency, resulting in higher yields and better crop quality. Improved nitrogen use efficiency reduces leaching into deeper soils and water, which benefits surrounding biodiversity.
Sulphur at the first application is essential. Because crops need sulphur to use nitrogen effectively, it is important to have enough sulphur available every time you apply nitrogen. Applying Dynamax Novo from the first application to the last ensures a consistent sulphur supply throughout the season and maximises nitrogen efficiency. If later in the season sulphur is no longer needed, you can switch to Nutramon for the final application.
Yes. Nitrogen and sulphur have similar uptake rates. Most crops with a high nitrogen demand also require more sulphur. Applying Dynamax Novo at every application keeps sulphur availability stable throughout the season, ensuring optimal nitrogen use efficiency.
Dynamax Novo is physically identical to conventional Dynamax, except for its lower CO₂ footprint.
Therefore, all spreader settings remain the same. Most spreader manufacturers include specific spreading tables for Dynamax Novo and Nutramon.
Often, soil tests show sulphur deficiency. In these cases, Dynamax Novo is the ideal
solution.
Sulphur improves nitrogen efficiency, leading to higher yields and better crop quality.
With global food demand rising, improving yields sustainably is increasingly
important.
Dynamax Novo offers both:
- higher output per hectare
- lower environmental impact
This makes Dynamax Novo both economically and ecologically profitable.
Thanks to better nitrogen efficiency, your crops use more of the nitrogen you apply. This allows you to achieve higher yields within legal N limits — with less environmental impact.
Storage rules vary by country, but Dynamax Novo has no special storage requirements compared to Nutramon Novo. Always follow local fertiliser storage guidelines.
Dynamax Novo spreads perfectly across large widths. The hard, round, dust-free granules give precise and even distribution with a maximum spreading width of 50 metres.
Its spreading performance is identical to regular Dynamax — the only difference is the lower CO₂ footprint.
